12Ltr Dehumidifier is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 207.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value dehumidifier We were having some fairly serious condensation issues and decided to try this unit based on some of the other reviews. Not at all disappointed with this machines performance and have see a dramatic reduction in any condensation forming. The whole house seems warmer and when the heating comes on, it also seems to warm more quickly. The unit isn't completely silent but we leave it running all night but not in the bedroom during the night but it is no louder than a quiet fan. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone wishing to reduce condensation during the colder months of the year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Build Quality Purchased this dehumidifier based on the reviews to keep the condensation down in the house I am currently building. Starting to put up plasterboard & wanted to prevent any damp spoiling stored materials inside the house. Plugged it in at the end of the day and left it on overnight for approx 14 hours. In the morning, there was less than half a glass of water in the tank and all windows still had condensation on them. I did take it back the next day for a fuss-free refund and will buy a named brand in the future.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, basic dehumidifier I got this to reduce the condensation on the windows throughout the house, and in just a few days of continuous running it has done just that. It now runs on the humidistat and only kicks in occasionally. In my case (ambient temperature about 20degC) the running power is around 180 to 190 watts, so when running constantly the daily consumption is only about 4.5kWhr, hardly something that is going to break the bank! The unit is quiet enough to leave running all the time, at least in our house. I've used it both using the built in reservoir and the continuous drain. To do the latter all you have to do is remove a plastic cover (part of the molding so once you've removed it that will always be a hole in the back) and then push a standard piece of garden hose over a spigot. Simples My only grumble is that it comes with wheels but without rubber (or similar) feet for leaving on a hard surface, I've put ours up on a worktop and I didn't want it rolling off! The wheels can be easily removed, just a couple of philips screws in each, but in the absence of some rubber feet on the base I had to resort to some self-adhesive felt pads. Overall it does a great job, isn't too expensive or noisy and doesn't cost too much to run

Rated 3 out of 5 by from unwanted feature! On our second unit as the first failed to cut out when the tank was full. Unfortunately this deposited several litres of water back into the carpet before we noticed. Quiet in operation and certainly pulls the water out, just be careful it doesn't re-distribute it as ours did, 2nd unit now in a plastic tank until it proves itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product - I have 4 I am a landlord with a couple of properties built in the early 1900's in my portfolio, my own home was built in 1806. I have two of these dehumidifiers in my own house, and I have two in two of these in my old solid brick rental properties. Multiple Occupancy properties always have problems with condensation, and these dehumidifiers take care of that easily. Would definatly recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works .Definitely reccomend My unit works really well. It has sucked up 10 ltrs of water in 3 days, which is less than stated but more than anticipated, as all the moisture was in the floor. The carpet felt dry with bare feet after just one day after a leaking radiator had soaked the thing. If I sleep in a damp environment, I quickly get a chest infection, so this unit has prevented that happening and has therefore saved me from losing pay. Mine is quiet, but it seems some are noisy from the comments I've read. If the noise would be an issue for you, I suggest collecting it from a trade counter and testing it in store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice little machine I've only just bought this, so not much use has been got out of it yet, but I've bought it mainly to help keep a rather damp, wet bathroom dry and mould free. I will need to use an extension lead as it does only have a short lead before I can use it in the bathroom, so I've only used it so far whilst washing has been drying inside, and in just a few hours it collected more water than I thought. I think this will be a good addition to the home. It's also very quiet and wheels around freely. It's fairly heavy but nothing a woman can't handle!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Damp Seems to be doing as it should. . .We have two others which also work but have a drawback. . .You cannot use a timer with them as they have to have their little buttons pressed every time they are plugged in/switched on. . .This one does not and can be left to run for a few hours every day . .without having to have buttons pressed. . .This saves energy as we dont need it to run 24/7 and neither do most folk. . .We have solar and it suits to run during daylight hours to a degree. . .It draws water at a similar rate to the others. . . Is it good??, ,I hope so, , Early signs are good. . I have ticked the stars accordingly as I cannot know how reliable this is just yet
