Full Bore Isolating Valve 22mm is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 44.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from They are fine with a ? The advantage of fitting a full bore isolating valve is it doesn't restrict the water flow, which can be beneficial when used with a combination boiler. However I would recommend you turn the valve on and off a number of times before fitting as the valves are a bit to stiff, this will help loosen the turning action particularly if you live in an area with hard water. I have had no problems with leaks so yes I would recommend.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Thanks, guys I bought two of these in store so that I could check them out armed with a screwdriver before purchasing a pair. Of the first two I was offered one was completely immovable both by myself and staff. Once fitted they both seem to have stiffened up but the range of movement has increased.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed after just over 2 years I fitted these in the bathroom to make life easy Ha! Mistake just had to turn them off to replace the plastic check nuts on the bath taps. I think somebody has already commented on the torque being tight which I thought when fitting but ignored ... Beware ... Anyway 2 and a bit years down the road had to turn them off and guess what I cannot for the life of me get the cold to turn back on and the screw slot is stripping so time to swap out the valves now going to use a better quality one this time as saving pennies on fitting like this costs you twice for the part and labour if I had to pay it - totally frustrated

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Bar None.. Used these as running a gravity system and getting as much flow as possible / bar counts with modern taps. Full bore so no lose putting these in the pipe runs and good solid things..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Full Bore 22mm isolating valve If you have a gravity fed shower, where the water pressure isn't great, then fitting these valves are essential to ensure that the shower water flow isn't reduced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 22mm Full Bore Product is great and works as it should. Biggest disappointment was only one in stock ! This items is more commonly required in pairs and to find one in stock meant a second trip to another store. Common sense...minimum stock level 2 !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Full Bore Ahead!! I bought a pair of these valves to replace a couple of standard isolation valves after finding out that one wasn't shutting off at all and the other one was letting by. When I went to fit them I thought it would be a lot more straight forward than what it was by just taking out the old valve, use the existing nut and olive and just replace the body, but found that the collar depth is shorter than that on what I would call a conventional run of the mill solation valve, so be prepared in having to remove the old olive and nut if you're replacing an existing valve. Once fitted they seal really well even under pressure of the combi boilers hot water supply and with the full bore opening improves the flow of water through the tap. On the whole the valve has an excellent build quality, install is fairly straight forward and will definitely convert to using full bore valves in the future.
