Full Bore Isolating Valve 22mm is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 42.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed after just over 2 years I fitted these in the bathroom to make life easy Ha! Mistake just had to turn them off to replace the plastic check nuts on the bath taps. I think somebody has already commented on the torque being tight which I thought when fitting but ignored ... Beware ... Anyway 2 and a bit years down the road had to turn them off and guess what I cannot for the life of me get the cold to turn back on and the screw slot is stripping so time to swap out the valves now going to use a better quality one this time as saving pennies on fitting like this costs you twice for the part and labour if I had to pay it - totally frustrated

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What's not to like? A well engineered product at a very competitive price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Bar None.. Used these as running a gravity system and getting as much flow as possible / bar counts with modern taps. Full bore so no lose putting these in the pipe runs and good solid things..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Full Bore 22mm isolating valve If you have a gravity fed shower, where the water pressure isn't great, then fitting these valves are essential to ensure that the shower water flow isn't reduced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 22mm Full Bore Product is great and works as it should. Biggest disappointment was only one in stock ! This items is more commonly required in pairs and to find one in stock meant a second trip to another store. Common sense...minimum stock level 2 !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Full Bore Ahead!! I bought a pair of these valves to replace a couple of standard isolation valves after finding out that one wasn't shutting off at all and the other one was letting by. When I went to fit them I thought it would be a lot more straight forward than what it was by just taking out the old valve, use the existing nut and olive and just replace the body, but found that the collar depth is shorter than that on what I would call a conventional run of the mill solation valve, so be prepared in having to remove the old olive and nut if you're replacing an existing valve. Once fitted they seal really well even under pressure of the combi boilers hot water supply and with the full bore opening improves the flow of water through the tap. On the whole the valve has an excellent build quality, install is fairly straight forward and will definitely convert to using full bore valves in the future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from General builder Fitted for 6 weeks now and seized so tight that the cross slots burred off when I tried to close them. The cross slots aren't very deep, but they are wide (you'll struggle to find a screwdriver blade thick enough to fill the slot#. I used a thick steel washer holding that with mole grips to shift them #both of them). The metal slot top screw head is so soft, it's next to useless. I'll try to cut deeper slots in the heads, but failing that - mole grips are the only way to turn them on / off. Very disappointed indeed - not the sort of quality level I'd expect from Screwfix ! Avoid them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from torque to operate too high Before fitting I found the torque required to close the valve excessive, but thought it may reduce once broken away and with a pipe to help hold it. Fitted fine and no leaks. However breakaway torque required to open or close the valve is far too high, and the screwdriver flats are rounding out already - so fearful am I whether there is any chance of operating these in two years time with restricted access that I am stripping them out now and replacing them with a lever operated full bore valve. I suggest you go straight for one of those instead. Pros: Full bore Easy fit with hex on body No leaking on first fit Cons: Breakaway torque far too high so screwdriver flats already rounding out Need to be really precise to shut off flow
