Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for money Easy to fit and works well with a e27 bulb. Plenty of light.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fiddly and cheap The internal connections are extremely flimsy. Don't buy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Won't suit some applications Quality of the item is fine, metal base and glass diffuser. BUT, the single cable entry point is from the rear and this is a 20mm port for a gland. Unfortunately it is so close to the side body that it is impossible to get a back nut on! So without modification it is NOT suitable for SWA armoured cable entry applications. With only one entry It is not possible to loop through for other units either. All a bit rudimentary with limited applications.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive fitting I was very impressed with the quality of this moderately priced light fitting. Connection was easy once I removed the lamp holder from the base. The connection will take two 1.5 mm cable but it is a bit tight. The body is good quality and the sealing rubber gasket is thick and durable. Over all this is a good quality fitting for a supprisingly low price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the picture.. This is a good quality product, robust coated metal frame, nicely fitted sealing gaskets and a proper ceramic lamp holder add up to excellent value. Made for outdoors but looks good enough for inside if you don't need anything too pretty or for a funky industrial look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Bulkhead Light I echo other more technical reviews as to products features and build quality - its well constructed and very robust. To be honest I was looking for an entirely plastic fitting - basically because plastic doesn't corrode and metal does. Anyway the alloy base plate, finished in what I think is white 'powder coat' looks pretty well finished and the appearance should last. One tip that I will give is to dip the bolts that hold the glass in place, in grease, before you screw them in. Steel bolts in alloy holes is a recipe for corrosion meaning that the bolt will fuse with the hole and then you cannot take the bolts out should the need arise i.e. to replace a bulb - put some grease on the bolt - and that solves that problem.Dont take too much notice of my reliability rating, as I've only just purchased these, and its too early for me to really have an opinion on this front.
