Armeg SDS Plus Channelling Chisel 30mm is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 41348.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great bit of kit As a plumber on new build houses, i use this almost daily. I was aware of reviews saying they break but ive got about 3 years out of mine. Even now it has not broken at the shank but at the sides near the point. I must point out that the blocks i use it on are pretty soft. If used on hard blocks and bricks it might not last as well. I will have no hesitation buying another now that it has just about become unusable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Drill needs roto-stop! The description should mention that your drill needs to have a roto-stop facility. Mine doesn't and so this bit revolves and is useless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, but pricey I've been through 3 of these in 2 years, all failed on the SDS shank

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tool I purchased this channelling chisel along with a Makita HR2470WX/2 SDS Plus hammer drill to channel out solid walls. I just took it slow as not to get the chisel too hot and it it's done the job just perfect. Didn't hake too much mess to be honest either which is a plus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but has its problems Like some others on here only used this for a month and the shank broke near the drill Good tool giving great effortless chasing when used in conjunction with a chasing machine. In saying that Screwfix has replaced it with out question - see how long this will last

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Should have bought it sooner! I have never used one of these before and was very impressed at how quickly it cut a neat and even depth channel in a block wall.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked well but then !!! When rewiring my house thought that would have made life a bit easier with going behind the skirting boards, but as I have 6" tall skirting the item for one isn't long enough to to reach the bottom of the board but got close enough to breakthrough. I used the item once. I also had to chase another chanel for which I thought it would also be good for but only after approx 700mm the item become chipped and not as good as when I started so in total the item was used less than 1M and has become blunt and chipped and this was only in normal plaster and brick. So I now tried it in plaster again and was "ok" but didn't give a clean edge as before so I think the item is finished and have gone back to the good old bolster and chisel
