Bailey Steel Jointed Black Drain Rod Set 12 Pieces is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 126.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drain unblocker Read the reviews and had mixed feelings about purchasing this. Looked on Youtube (recommended) and saw some great demo's and advice. Glad i did as product is excellent and cleared my drain blockage. TIP. Tighten and re-tighten connections as they can work loose with use

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cleares drains in minutes. The sight (and smell) of a blocked drain over the holiday period was not a happy one especially as I was unable to make contact with a plumber. I thought these rods can't be any good as they are so cheap but how wrong I was. They have just the right amount of flex and within fifteen minutes I had the drain cleared and flowing freely. Just be careful to nip the sections up tight with a couple of swan necks or similar, to stop them unscrewing themselves in the drain. That would be a disaster!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bailey drain rods Easy and quick to attach to each other. Flexible enough without compromising the strength.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job Good set of drain rods. Bought 2 sets as rodding a long run. No problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Sturdy I bought the Bailey rods because I read on another web site that the Silverline rods were prone to breaking. A couple of times the rods nearly got stuck but this was my fault for pushing them past some tree roots. The point is, I had to yank very hard to get them out and they showed no sign whatsoever of reaching breaking point. I was trying to unblock a gutter drain and there were no manhole covers involved. I suspect that in some case it might be a bit tricky to get these into the drain if much bending was involved. I think they've got the balance between sturdiness and flexibility about right.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value Well made, strong and flexible. Used within i week of purchase to clear blocked drain and big improvement on the last rods I owned that had become worn and brittle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Improved and still compatible. Excellent value with 10 x 3ft rods and a basic two two tool head-set. The simple plunger is an improved bolt together unit that's way stronger than the old moulded-on version and the double helix bites on and into stubborn blockages for effective tearing out of the obstruction. The well milled solid brass unions lock nicely and fit all other standard rods if your looking to for longer reach. Excellent performance all round.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't use for chimney Just used my set of rods for sweeping chimney. Steel ferrule so thin it snapped. Brush now stuck up chimney. Will buy the brass ferrule ones for future use.
