BG 2-Gang Unswitched Brushed Steel Floor Socket is rated 1.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Floor socket I used two of these sockets recently. I read the current reviews and was a bit worried. However I found that this product is a lot better than the reviews. The floor socket was of a good quality, the terminals at the back were good and were colour coded for easy recognition. The socket sat flush to the floor and looked good. It is true that to connect the socket there are two sets of terminals (one for each socket) and these need to be linked out, but this is due to the sockets design as it can be used for various different applications and accepts different modules. I am an electrician with 30 years experience.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Product Totally agree with the first review, the old sockets screwfix the used to supply were much better. These sockets come with 2 single sockets put into a plate, then you need to wire between them. So if there in a ring circuit (Like mines were) you need to put one leg into one, one leg into the other then link between them, what is made worse with the poor termination terminals that are really short and the cables fall back out of. I now use another supplier for them.
