Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mortar rake Used to remove mortar and slice off courses of brickwork. Blade doesnt produce much in the way of dust as for example a grinder disc would. Feels very strong and certainly doesnt bend if restricted in use

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK for blocks or soft bricks This works fine on blocks but struggles with bricks unless they are soft stocks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal indoor block cutter I have used this product before on site but purchased one to cut down a plastered block wall at home ready for a new door frame. Excellent product, cut a very straight line through 8 newton blocks, mortar and plaster with no problem. Whole job took less than an hour and dust was much less than with a disc cutter. It is slower but is more accurate and cleaner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bosch saw blade I used it yesterday to cut some breeze blocks in half. They cut through in around 10 minutes maybe a little longer, I didn't time it. I found that using about a 30 degree angle was about right with a little down pressure. Slower than a disc cutter but it did not create a lot of dust which would make it better for indoor use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant! If you need a blade which will cut all but the hardest of bricks - don't hesitate! Buy this one! I needed to cut a 4 meter wall across and down on a house in France. The cut needed to be accurate and there is no Screwfix around, to buy anything else, so I brought this from England and hoped for the best. Brilliant. Did the whole job and the blade is still as sharp! The wall was plastered terracotta bricks, with ceramic tiles on one side. All cut perfectly! (Used it in my Makita 18V saw by the way)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a blade! I needed to have a smooth cut surface on my wall to take the lug fixings on my new patio door and decided to try this blade. The bricks I was cutting were hard and despite the good reviews I expected the blade to go blunt after a couple of bricks had been cut. I was wrong - it really does cut hard brick and only after I had cut through about 6 feet of brick did the cutting rate slow a bit. My advice is to take it nice and easy and don't put too much downwards force on your saw. It may take a bit longer to make the cut but it will help to prolong the life of the blade. I also found that by angling the blade down at about 30 degrees and gently spraying with water there is virtually no dust.
