Bottle Trap Chrome-Plated 32mm is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bottle trap Have bought 2 of these, looks good and solid. But both of them leaked from chrome nut, tried ptfe and plumbers mate. Eventually sorted them out, but it should have been a simple thing get right, rather than many attempts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst waste Looks very nice but main problem is the seal to the sink wast does not sit correctly and when you tighten up the joint the seal moves into the pipe and of course the whole thing leaks like a sieve. Tried about 10 times gave up and threw it away. Badly designed and will probably only work with 2 flanged surfaces.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to fit Looks good when fitted - but a pig to get watertight. The rubber seal that fits between sink outlet and top of this trap is too thin and distorts when you tighten it all up - so it leaks. Resorted to ptfe tape around the thread and area where the washer sits - which made it watertight. Also quite hard to get the 32mm chrome pipe to go in to a push fit plastic connector - it will go, but you need to push hard and lube with washing up liquid or similar. Looks good though when done.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good... Nice slim unit No problems installing Make sure you have a chrome sink / plug unit otherwise it looks a bit odd.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Neat trap A very neat trap that works well with our small corner basin. I did have some issues sealing the trap to the waste but overcame this with some ptfe tape between the nut and flange and on the thread. The highly polished nut is difficult to hand tighten so used a stilson to tweak the nut protected by a generous layer of masking tape. Remains to see regards reliability but I am hopeful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid Looks good, but 1. Not really telescopic 2. It leaks 3. It leaks after Ptfe applied 4. It leaks after fernox jointing compound applied Did I mention it leaks ?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ditch the washer Despite, reading the reviews regarding it leaking like a leaky thing, I thought it can't be that bad surely they would of sorted it out by now. No ditch the supplied washer and get your own If sure screw fix have replacement washers some where. With regard to the bottle itself, it look fab under our basin, would buy again when and if I need to do the upstairs bathroom
