Easyfix Cut Clasp Nails 2.65 x 50mm 1kg Pack is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cut Clasp Nails These were intended to fix a replacement floor using floorboards. The cut clasps split the boards. I eventually resorted to using screws.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN … DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN … OK PACKET! Very easy to use with minimal tendency to split the boards if used right. Used on a renovation project with very mature original Victorian boards (circa 1870). I found applying a slight angle reduced the tendency of the boards to split. Nice retention.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from just the job perfect for relaying old floorboards, the dimple on the top mentioned in a previous review is to ensure the nail beds firmly below the surface of the timber so it does not work loose . Just what it is intended for. If sanding punch the nails further below the surface as with any floor sanding job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish These nails are useless, chocolate nails would have gone in better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheap as chips Needed some of these to re-lay some floorboards directly only concrete. Performed well & kept their shape while hammering. Only bad bits - the nails have a really smooth finish, and I found they were quite "slippy" when going into concrete, whereas some others I already had were quite rough and gripped better. Also, the nails had a small dimple on the top, which didnt flatten out after hammering, so when I came to sand the boards, I was destroying pads. Cheapest I could find for this quantity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tight fix I repaired a floor using these and they are very easy to use. The old boards were in varying states and I was concerned at the size of the nails as smaller ones (round type)had clearly split the wood when used by the previous owners. These go in very well and without damage even very close to the ends of boards. They grip nice and tightly and I am well pleased with the results, just bought my second pack as another area of the house requires some repair. I found holding the nail straight until a good third was in the board helped keep the nail straight and true, also going in slowly to start with boards in very bad shape.
