DeWalt Compound Action Long Nose Pliers 7½" is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality Comfortable to use and great gripping force can be applied. Opening is slightly restricted however not been an issue yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top Quality Pliers Well made top quality tool with comfortable grip for extended use. The spring loaded opening is very convenient when working one-handed, and the tool can also be locked in the closed position when storing it. The compound action is highly effective when compared to conventional pliers, but does limit the maximum jaw opening. I've not found this is a big issue with needle nose pliers as they're typically used in confined spaces anyway.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Pliers Excellent pliers, really happy with them. I was initially a bit concerned by the negativity of some of the other reviews, but having purchased them realize that the other reviewers really had no conception of what a compound pliers is and how it works, shame really to post negative comments just because of a lack of knowledge and understanding.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long nose radio pliers Overall length 230mm. When handles are fully opened my hand just reaches across to close jaws. Limited wire cutting capacity I accept. Compound action to me means less effort to grip on any surface, not just cutting power, making them exceptional in performance. Jaw tips open to 15mm. I'm no electrician. Used to bend half hardened Brass and annealed Mild steel for Museum mount making. I'm sure all the female mount makers will find this tool invaluable. Not used just by the construction industry. Good value compared to Knipex, NWS or C.K pliers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dewalt - What have you done!!! I am a big dewalt fan, so had to have the new range of hand tools. What a mistake : Ratchet screwdriver - Feels cheap and nasty Compound Pliers - Horrible poor action. Save your hard earned pennies Dewalt should stick to power tools.
