DeWalt Heavy Duty Stapler / Nailer is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 58.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seriously good! Absolute weapon. Use it to stick Angle Beads to Plasterboard/Bonding. Very reliable and with a years guarantee, can't go wrong.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good stapler but not without i Purchased to replace my very old and used Arrow, Its neat and tidy driving staples well, however its supposed to drive 18G staples up to 15mm as well (oh boy it does not) neally every brad I used failed to penetrate fully and this was softwood beading into misture resistant MDF not the hardest of materials.... Ended up driving rest with a small cobblers hammer. Another gripe is Dewaults OWN Brads are to long to fit into the loading bay so you end up removing about 1 cm of staples which becomes a massive waste (try pilling 5 or 6 bits of brads into the machine and closing the cartridge holder it wont happen!.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great! Brilliant bit of kit, absolutely love the power switch, great for when you don't need the extra power for driving staples into softer materials. Have actually tacked polythene sheeting to bricks a few times with this on high power! 4/5 for value due to drastic price drop only a few days after my purchase, don't let this put you off!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this one I needed to re-upholster a sofa, involving multiple stables through fabric, thin plyboard, then into thick solid wood. I bought this after a bad experience using the standard silver stanley version on a similar project. Was absolutely fantastic, not a single missed/bent/broken staple or nail and the job completed quickly. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nearly perfect!! Excellent piece of kit, bought it to replace a cheap stapler, it was pricey but has saved me lost of time, no jamming! Only gripe for the price they could have included a sample of staples & brads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stapler I bought this stapler to fix netting to the wooden framed fruit cage on my allotment. This was a “one off job” for me and there was no access to an electric supply so I chose a hand drive stapler. This one worked very well driving the staples (Stanley 140 (type T50, G) heavy duty staples 14) all the way into the wood and securing the netting very effectively. There are two pressure settings. I only used the higher because of the long staples. I found that I needed to apply a considerable amount of pressure when squeezing the trigger to fire a staple and that my inexperienced hand tired quickly. Reloading was very straightforward and there were very few misfires. Occasionally a staple got stuck and needed to be pulled out. The job took about 1000 staples and the gun was still working properly at the end. If you are new to staplers then make sure you buy the correct staples. I inadvertently bought the wrong sort to begin with. I would certainly recommend this gun although I am aware there are cheaper ones which may work as well. It was certainly pricier than many.
