Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Needed to fix a door frame and was juggling between using brackets, rawl plugs and so forth. Found these after reading the reviews and WOW, they are brilliant! You need an impact gun of some sort to get them in fully though. Half the time I didn't need to use packers as the thread also holds the frame in place. Going to use them for future jobs now I have them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for Thermalite blocks? It's obvious from the reviews that these are a good product BUT I found them less than useless when trying to fix kitchen wall-unit hanger plates through Dot&Dab'd plasterboard and into Thermalite blocks. (just sharing the experience folks)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant! I used these to batten out a shower enclosure, the walls of which were really out of true - not straight, not plumb, built out of multiple different types of brick and block... would have been a right pain with normal plugs and screws! I just used expanding foam and a few spacers to get the timbers in position and when it had gone off drilled and fixed with these screws. 18v cordless impact driver got them into solid brick and cinder blocks with no sweat, just make sure you use a decent 6mm masonry bit to pilot first. Then No More Ply cement backer boards on the battens ready for tiling. Rock solid and a piece of cake. Very happy!
