Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product does the job Got through 3 rooms of stripping and first one packed up on me. Might have been my fault for letting the water get a little low. Store placed no question, second one has done another 4 rooms worth of stripping. Good price, does the job well. At this price, why by anything else?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DIYer review Some mixed reviews on this steamer. Well I've used it on several occasions and it hasn't failed me yet. Good size container managed to strip a 3m x 4m ceiling and only had to refill it once. My only gripe is the electrical lead, wish it was a little longer but I guess thats what extension leads are for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Day~steam believer After struggling with a borrowed steamer for a day that then packed up, my wife enthusiastically went to Screwfix (her first time) to get a steamer first thing on a Sunday. We got through the remaining in a matter of hours & would of saved us hours if we had of bought one when she suggested instead of me saying 'this one will be o.k' and moving at snails pace.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than expected As the cheapest steamer in the catalogue I wasn't expecting much. I thought if could finish the one room I needed to then I got what I paid for. Well I've done s whole house now and still works perfectly! It's not dribly or leaky and worth every penny

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stripper For the money this paper stripper is excellent, it may not be a well known brand but it does exactly what it should.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for I have just spent a couple of days using this steamer and have mixed feelings: 1. The good news - when it gets going it is effective and produces steam for at least an hour, maybe two. 2. The bad news - everything depends on the kettle lead. On mine at least this was impossibly sensitive - every tiny move of the cable or tank disconnected the steamer. I wasted some time at first assuming it was just slow - there is no light showing whether it is powered. For a while it would only heat the water if I held the plug in an exact position. Mine only became practical to use when I glued the lead into the socket. I have reluctantly chosen "I would recommend this product" because it is basically fair value and definitely can be made to work - just be aware you may have to do some modifications first.
