Energer ENB454JSW 65mm 550W Jigsaw 220-240V is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 216.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional price jigsaw I was looking for a general purpose jigsaw and was sceptical about the low price for the jigsaw worried about the quality and reliablity but after reading good reviews decided to give it a go. I was not disappointed the jigsaw feels good quality and does what it is meant to do with good clean easy cuts though I did buy some good quality bosch blades from screwfix. Would recommend for diy or light professional use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worth every penny, not 1p more I bought this jigsaw to cut a kitchen worktop sink hole, having done one the day before with a cordless reciprocating saw (which was successful, straight and chip-free but made me nervous!). I've been DIYing for years and normally buy the best tools i can afford. I've also worked in construction and although I'm no longer on the tools, I have a lot of knowledge. I was swayed by the online reviews and decided to buy this saw.... so here's my ten pence worth: Good points - Cheap. Works. Can see where you're cutting. Takes bayonet blades. Bad points - Body is misaligned out of the box so doesn't cut straight unless you angle it slightly. Under-powered - takes AGES to make a cut. Blade falls out of blade guide all the time, making cut ragged unless you watch it. Chipped to death the worktop I was working on, even using expensive, high quality reverse cut blades from a well-known manufacturer. Absolutely FIENDISH hand-arm vibration that left my hands number than an 8 hour ride on an old motorbike. No other tool I have ever owned has been so bad. My advice is, buy this if you want a cheap saw to do a few occasional cuts such as tidying up laminate flooring edges you won't see. If you want a quality cut, need speed on site or use tools frequently and don't want to get vibration white finger or carpal tunnel syndrome, avoid this tool and buy something decent. I swapped hands half way through the cut and suffered with both hands tingling even the following morning! Also, bin the blades that come with it. They're junk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good product I must admit I was sceptical about this beast but it's been brilliant I was able to make my panels up quick as flash and very reliable. Very good for the money

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I can't believe the value for money and build quality and specifications especially the easy blade change.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value I've used this extensively on my home renovation project. 12mm HDF laminate flooring for the whole house (60m2) cut without any problem. I cut plenty of 20mm MDF panels to make shelves - no problem at all. I cut fire 5x 45mm heavy fire doors to size (along both the height and width) - it struggled a bit (slow), but did the job without issues. The lock-on switch was really helpful for the long cuts here since I could simply hold the jigsaw and allow it to cut, rather than squeezing the switch for long periods of time. For the price, I think this is an excellent investment for a DIYer. Like many reviewers have suggested, I used the Bosch blades (15283) since the ones supplied are not upto the job. My jigsaw guide was not aligned properly, but I really didn't bother to fix it with the hex key supplied, since I used a pencil line and simply cut along it. Will certainly recommend this product for DIY use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible, terrible Jigsaw. Without a doubt the worst purchase I have made in Screwfix, and possibly ever! I brought the jigsaw to literally cut one large hole in a 40mm thick chipboard work surface to slot a hob in, but this couldn’t manage a single cut along one side, let alone all 4 sides. The jigsaw vibrated massively and even on lower speeds and different settings it didn’t change – I have never experience it to this level on any jigsaw I have used in the past. Around a quarter of the way through the first cut (only 400mm in length) the blade started to twist and would then fall out. I put the blade back in and again as it started to cut it would fall out. I purchased some new blades and started a fresh side and exactly the same started to happen, so it clearly isn’t the blades and is the machine itself. I had a dewalt before my brother used it (never to be seen again) and ended up purchasing a bosch, both of which were perfectly capable of cutting work surfaces with the bosch breezing through the work surface. This jigsaw may be fine for thin laminate or MDF but it is not fit for purpose for work surfaces. Credit to screwfix who refunded me with no quibble.
