Energer ENB463DRL 710W Percussion Drill 230-240V is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 74.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from An incredible machine I bought this to replace my old decommissioned Black & Decker hammer drill. After reading the remarkable reviews about this drill, I decided to give it a try. Got it 2 days ago and tested it on some plastic sheets, wood and some bricks, using both the hammer and drill functions. It did go through those materials relentlessly. Although it is still early days to say for reliability but have positive feeling about it. Just a reminder for someone who is unfamiliar with non-chuck-key drill is that, ALWAYS manually tighten the drill bit after the bit is inserted and tightened into the chuck. Otherwise the bit can be stopped or released during half way or when the drill is withdrawing from the drilling motion. I can't believe it has also included 7 metal bits and 7 wood bits in this price as well. All in all, is a great machine for the price and a bargain buy. Very happy with it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great power to price ratio. Still quite new but I've used it a few times. Particularly pleased with it's performance on bricks and blocks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Energer percussion drill I bought this about 2 years ago now and I have not had a better performance from any other drill I've ever bought; certainly not at this price anyway. The thumb wheel on the trigger lets you adjust the torque quickly and easily...the only gripe is that the power cable is way too short meaning you really need an extension if you're at height but other than that I'd buy this again no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bargain Buy, Excellent Quality Brilliant piece of kit, got tired of cordless drill giving up after 15 min work and not being able to handle masonry. Have bought lesser known brands before from screwfix following customer reviews and been very pleased with them. This is a true bargain with good build quality, 14 wood and metal bits included, keyless chuck and a brilliant variable speed feature as well a hammer action. This will handle anything a general DIY person will need to do. This drilled brick, concrete and was able to make light work of screwing in 150 deck screws. Every home should have one. Why pay 3-4 times the price for a label when you get all this for a brilliant price?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Drill for DIY Great drill for DIY but I ragged it a little too hard and damaged the motor (I was drilling wide holes with a flat head bit into a tree stump to prep it for burning down). Still working but the motor is definitely on it's last legs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value and features I've made do with cordless drills for more than a few years now, but when a tough job tank cutting holes in hard marine ply came up it was time to get something more powerful. Technically, with the size of hole being cut, this drill was underpowered too, but with the hammer setting and gentle handling it has managed the job and where possible I have preferred to use it for everything else since. I'm delighted with the value for money; the build is good and solid; and all the usual features are there. The only three minor faults I can think of, which it almost feels mean to raise given the price bracket, are: the lack of a two speed setting; lack of a carry case; and that the supplied HSS drills weren't able to handle stainless steel sheet. Too early to tell on the reliability front, but absolutely no reasons to doubt it so far. I'm looking forward to making lots of use of this drill in the year ahead...
