Energer ENB522TCB 450W Tile Cutter 240V is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 111.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected Bought this as my 10 year old tile saw finally gave up the ghost. Wasn't expecting too much after reading some previous reviews but after completing a bathroom refurb I have been pleasantly surprised. As others have stated it can be quite tricky to set up and the instructions could definitely be better. Once set up however it performed admirably, I have made over 100 cuts through 10mm wall and floor tiles. One thing I did find was that you do need to clean it out quite regularly as the sludge that builds up in the water chamber can clog the blade up if left. Also, you have to make sure the blade supplied is put on the right way round. I assume this is what caused some of the previous reviewers tiles to get chipped. For the price you cannot go wrong.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it should! Nice cheap tile cutter, does what it should do, and probably more besides, will pay for itself on its first job!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy cheap buy twice! Completely rubbish and pointless, or the acronym C.R.A.P. Bought this on price to finish a bathroom refit, quality of product is cheap and cost of time and fuel expensive to return, screwfix staff equally agreed it was a rubbish product, these should be kept in schools as a demonstration of the buy cheap buy cheap principal! Didn't even cut the first tile before I discovered it was knackered! Avoid!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Random Quality Broke after cutting 3 x 10mm thick floor tiles, the cuts were 300mm long. It is very noisy with just the disk spinning, I suspect the gearbox is very poor quality. The first three cuts were very easy, like a hot knife through butter requiring very little force to push the tile past the cutter. Just started the fourth tile when it sounded different and ten seconds later there was a phut and the earth leakage trip blew. The disk could no longer be rotated by hand seeming to be siezed solid. Screwfix refunded no quibbles. SO having read the reviews I thought I'd take a punt, some seemed very happy and others like me suffered almost instant failures.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small Home Use Set up and use is very easy, but only use for small home jobs. I made about 40 cuts with the first one and it went bang. Replacement has been fine and has finished the job. Not a single complaint for the money though and the ease of replacement was brilliant service from Screwfix.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bargain!! Brought last weekend to cut some tiles for kitchen. Had no problems so far. Water cooler is a gd feature. Cuts through tiles effortlessly. Only moan so far is guide is a bit fiddly ...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It does the job With the motor failing after only half a dozen cuts, I wondered if I should have a replacement or buy something else but it was replaced with no fuss and I persevered. In the end it proved to be of reasonable value for the occasional 'diy'er. Helped me out tiling my kitchen and saved time on nibbling shapes around electrical sockets. It's quicker to use a manual tile cutter for simple straight cuts but good for trimming off thin edge strips which a manual cutter would have difficulty with. I bought it especially for mitring the edges of brick veneer tiles for window reveals which it did well at, although I had to fabricate my own tee square to keep the long side of the tile at 90 degrees to the disc. Also had to insert a wooden support for under the lift up platform when mitring, as the plastic was flimsy and bent with a little pressure in the centre. I don't regard it as a long term investment but at the end of the day it does the job and you could probably justify buying a new one at this price for each new project if you had to.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buy something more expensive Lasted three cuts before it died on me. It was a replacement for another one which had died after two weeks. Bought the TITAN one and 9000kg tiles cut later, still going strong
