Rated 5 out of 5 by from Magnificent value. I cannot believe how good this sander is, considering how low the price is. The clips and trigger are good, the sanding action is effective, and the vibration/noise levels are reasonably low. Of course you'll get more features such as cyclonic dust extraction with a more expensive branded model, but if that really matters to you, you'll be happy to pay more. I bought this to prepare approximately 32ft x 64ft of plywood for veneer application to the face, edge and end grain surfaces. It's still going strong, so I'll continue using it in future for similar jobs and to sand down my workbenches from time to time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Velcro losing its grip Bought this sander about three months ago. Has been working very well until now. We work on very soft wood, and the sander gets used about three hours a week.so does not get a lot of work. It is also well supervised to make sure it is used properly. However. The velcro has started the smoothen itself, so nothing will stick to it. i would end up having to replace the sand paper within minutes of use then flies of the machine. Its very frustrating, and it is the same problem on the Erbauer detail sander which i had to replace, with the new one has just died on me with no reason.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 2 Returns with same fault I've tried two of these units - both have been returned with the same fault: the adhesive holding the hook & loop backing on the sanding plate has failed meaning you cannot use that function anymore. That being said both units did their job well until failure - hooking a shop vac up to the dust port gave a good lease of life from the sanding sheets so dust extraction is reasonable. If you never intend to use hook and loop sanding sheets then this is a bargain. The only other issue is that Screwfix do not sell sanding sheets with perforations to match the dust extraction holes in the sole plate.
