Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked like a charm Excellent piece of kit. Needed to drill holes in a narrow cupboard to add additional shelves. the angled chuck is well and sturdy made and does the job effortlessly. Well worth the price. Already received requests to borrow it from family members. Shouldn't have bragged how good it was.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Saved the day Needed one of these to drill through a joist to run a new shower cable and it saved the day what with the women of the house......must wash my hair blah blah, would recommend but one thing could be the addition of a seal of some sort to stop dust ingress into the bearings which are visible, not so much of a problem with wood but long term witha more abrasive dust could cause failure but that said would recomment it as a solid looking piece of kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the job I needed to drill some holes for cables under floor boards back up through stud partition for sockets, this angled chuck saved me £s from having to buy an angled drill. It feels very well built and should last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice solid chuck Bought this so I didn't need to shell out on an angle drill. Great for between joists. Saved £££ and also very well built bit of equipment. Every toolbox should have one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece of kit Bought this to drill holes in a shelf that had already been fitted in a tight space. I was expecting this to be difficult but this tool is great. Really good quality metal housing and no slack or drift when drilling Easy to use and great result.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from To drilli the impossible hole I bought this angled chuck to enable me to hang a radiator next to a toilet. The space between the toilet and the wall meant it would be impossible to drill for the bottom rad bracket without removing the toilet, which itself had been difficult to fit. As it turned out, the rad was eventually hung by the top brackets only, for other reasons. The next job I was on, I had to drill a vertical hole in the back corner of a kitchen sink cupboard, under all the pipework and waste fittings. This chuck came into it's own then, saving me the time and hassle of removing waste fittings. It dealt with the job easily, though I was only drilling through chipboard. It occurred to me that in the past, when running copper pipe through joists, this tool would make it possible to locate the holes for the pipe midway down the joists, instead of cutting them into channels along the top of the joist, where they're prone to damage from nails through floorboards. So far I've only used this once, so cannot rate for reliability, though it seems to be excellent quality. Because the chuck is free to rotate about the axis of the drill, the angled chuck has to be held whilst drilling, which means using only one hand for the drill - this could well be an issue using an SDS drill into brick walls - three hands would be useful in this situation. I can't see how this chuck could work with a drill on hammer action, either. Think about it! Overall, a great addition to my drill accessories, though probably only useful for drilling through wood, and other applications where hammer action not required.
