Rated 1 out of 5 by from Erbauer Bi Metal 35mm HoleSaw Bought 2 off these to cut a hole in an RSJ, as they didnt have the model (Starrett) I wanted in stock for pickup. The Erbauer holesaw basically disintergrated on contact with the metal. If you want to cut anything more than tin foil I would recommend Starrett holesaw. They did the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cutting A Diecast Box I used the 35mm hole cutter to machine a hole in a 2mm thick diecast enclosure just large enough to fit a 5-way navigation button system into a microcomputer controlled guitar echo unit I helped to design. The cut was exceptionally clean and easy to do. I can't fault this hole-saw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does what it says on the tin.. Bought to cut holes through wood to feed 32mm waste pipe......I cut a test hole in a piece of wood to see how tight the fit would be around the waste pipe. It was spot on and would recommend this item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very useful item I wanted to fit some cabinet hinges which needed a 35mm hole drilling in the doors. I found that my kit of hole saws didn't contain this size, so I nipped down to Screwfix for this one. I had to pack the mandrel with washers to prevent the pilot drill breaking through the other side of the wood and, having done this, I had the holes drilled and the middles chipped out in no time at all. Took longer to set up than to complete. This hole saw performed extremely well and was excellent value for money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why pay more Just cut 20 holes in 5mm black mild steel and only lost one tooth on this cutter, I’d say it would cut another 10 or more before it's done. I have been using this type of cutter professionally for over 25 years and this is as good quality as any of the top brands. Remember though like any cutter you need to look after the teeth, as the pilot drill brakes through don't let the cutter drop onto the work - guide it slowly under control otherwise you will both bend the pilot drill and brake teeth, make sure you don't have too high a cutting speed- swarf turning blue means you are cutting at too high a speed, also use a cutting oil or coolant will prolong the life and help keep the teeth cool. This type of cutter is really meant for metal although you can cut wood etc but don't expect the edge to last if you cut plasterboard and it will go blunt within seconds on brick or other ceramics.
