Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Maybe I just got a dodgy bit, as the other Erbauer bits I have are great. Unfortunately, this one managed only 2 consecutive holes in 9mm ceramic floor tiles (with cool-down time between) before the heat of the third one warped the metal; it is now completely unusable and will be getting returned. Not really usable for dry cutting, but would be fine for wet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Floor tiles Used this to cut holes in floor tiles I used on the wall. It was advertised as being used wet or dry, but I found it got too hot cutting dry and caused the tiles to crack. I cut the rest wet and cut 8 holes with no problems. Make sure you buy a tile cutter guide to hold the drill bit steady and take time to keep the bit and tile cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy work After wasting time with a number of other drill bits, i thought I'd try this. A little more expensive that some, but the time saved drilling 10mm polished porcelain was worth it. i made a guide out of ply to keep the bit steady to begin with and wet to keep it cool, then it went through clean and easy. 2 star for features, its a drill bit and doesn't have many features otherwise 5*

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extended Application Purchased 2 of these items to drill holes in 25mm sandstone slab rather than tiles. First lived for 7 holes while the second finished an additional 5 holes with life to spare. Happy with result!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for porcelain tiles After wasting money and hours on countless other bits. this did the job in minutes and is still going strong 10 holes later.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job Had to drill two holes in porcelain tiles. Did the job. Please note that it does not come with a guide bit. I drilled a pilot hole & used one of my masonry bits to keep it centred.
