Erbauer Diamond Tile Drill Bit 8 x 80mm is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well wort the money I really wish I'd bough one of these months ago, before fitting towel rails onto our ceramic tiles, a job that hours. A new bathroom cabinet with 7 screw holes looked as though it would take days with existing tile drills. This bit breezed through the ceramic tiles within 20 minutes.I didn't bother with a guide, but started with a standard tile bit, expanded it slightly with a masonary bit to give a small hole through the surface. Then I went in at an agle and straightened. It really is worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use this for Porcelain Tiles Cant believe the difference in this tile drill and the other rubbish that is on the market. Ok it is expensive, but cuts through 10mm hard porcelain in minutes instead of hours. No water cooling required and works on high speed drills. What isnt there to like other than the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy New bathroom with porcelain tiles. Tried the usual bits I have purchased online but just burning out. Did not really want to spend so much on a bit but decided to try and glad I did. Was able to put wall cabinet up after 20 mins. Bit still looks as good as when first bought so hoping next job or two will make the purchase economical.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant piece of kit Spent 40 mins and snapped 4 tile drills trying to get through some porcelain floor tiles - was reluctant to spend this much on a single drill bit but was worth every penny. This cut straight through with ease. Will be buying a set for when I do the bathroom.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy days After wasting lots of money and man hours, i finally found the right tile drill bit. Goes throungh porcelain effortlessly once you get going. You'll need a small bit to make a lead hole for bigger drill bits, to get going quicker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keep the core clear! I might be a bit dumb but after the first two holes I was struggling with this drill and thought it was naff! I then realised that the core was jammed solid with the debris from the first two cuts. I used a small masonry nail to clear it and found that if I kept it clear the drill worked much better. Twelve holes later, it was still going strong. Faster speeds seem to work better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Recommended Absolute c**p. This bit wore out before I had drilled one hole. I didn't see any point in opening the 7mm after that. These weren't cheap! Got to say Screwfix handled it well, no problem with a refund. Actually I OldBoytook part refund and replacement hardened carbon steel (although called a diamond bit!) These did the job but quite slowly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing It still takes ages to drill holes with this bit. Drilled 4 holes in about an hour. After that it seems to go blunt and now I'm on hole number 5 and it's taken 30mins to get halfway through the tile so far.
