Erbauer ERB372BJC 860W Biscuit Jointer 230-240V is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 64.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent product I wish I'd bought one sooner. This is my first biscuit joiner so I can't compare features to others but it's very robust and well made and very, very easy to use. For anyone else new to biscuit joiners, just make sure you clamp down the work piece with at least two clamps to ensure it doesn't slide while the machine is in operation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eraser buiscuit jointer Well pleased with this tool. Did exactly as described and I feel great value for money. Something added to my tool collection and will be used more for sure. Screw fix have done well again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent If used correctly. I am a big fan of Erbauer tools now having purchased quite a number over the past few months and this tool did not disappoint provided that the users are aware of a couple of basic requirements. There is a degree of vertical play in the head of the unit which can catch you out leading to uneven joints if you are not careful and wide and inaccurate cuts. The trick is to always ensure that the head of the unit is pressed down to the reference surface during the cut and not just the frame which carries the unit. Also remember to push the switch forward smoothly and not just the unit when making a cut. Failure to do this will lead to a very jerky start with unsatisfactory results. Once you have mastered these basic techniques all should be well and you will be delighted with the results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Biscuit jointer that works I have not used a biscuit jointer before using this one, bought for a particular project. Despite this it was very easy to use (without the need to resort to reading the guide book!). The depth setting, the angle of cut and the distance from the wood surface were all easy to set and the slots for the biscuits were cut with great ease. There is a centre mark on the front of the cutter (looks like it was pained by hand as not perfectly within the moulded line - not a problem at all) and this easily allows accurate positioning of the cutter along the length of the timber to be jointed. Certainly a useful addition to my collection of tools.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the money This is the first Biscuit Jointer I have bought so not a lot to compare it with. To be honest for the money its not bad. The cutting flange did not open fully so the cut was not absolutely flat but all I did was file out the angle stop a little way and now have a totally level flange and excellent cut. For the money I doubt if you could beat it! Too early to comment on reliability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new helper Briefly tried it, very easy to use and is going to be a huge asset to my workshop. I can now utilise many short pieces of left over wood.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not accurate - cut at an angle Luckily I tested the Erbauer before trying it on my wooden worktops because it just wouldn't cut parallel to the plate. All joints made ended up twisted so I took it back to Screwfix who gave me my money back. Great refund policy. I ended up buying a dowel jig which has given me the flush and accurate joints I needed. My erbauer router however works great so all is not lost!
