Erbauer Tile & Glass Drill Bit Set 3Pcs is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 272.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Drilled two holes - broke Returned for refund after the 8mm bit head broke away after drilling just two holes in porcelain tile, possibly OK for soft materials but definitely not for hard

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok These drill bits are ok if you are drilling the odd few holes through ceramic tiles. Use proper diamond bits of going through porcelain as the tips of these will get red hot and break off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why pay more? With floor & wall tiles that I had laid requiring drilling I was nervous. I bought these drill bits plus an up-market one just in case. I did not need the expensive one. These bits made the perfect holes with no slipping or chipping at the edge of the holes. Cannot speak highly enough of their value for money performance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lasted about 6 holes The set is terrible. Drilling into some 9mm tiles. The 6mm blunted on the first hole. The 5mm shattered after drilling about 6 or 7 holes, switched to the blunt 6mm, this lasted about 2 holes before shattering. I still have the 8mm but its so blunt now that its easier just to use my masonary bits. Absolutely dreadful product. I dont think I will buy Erbauer products again. I have had negative experiences with other products from this manufacturer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A boring review Drill bits are boring, as are the holes they create. On the other hand, there's obviously a scarcity of holes, otherwise why would we need drills? We need to make more holes, and a drill bit is one of the more accessible ways of doing it (cutting lasers are a trifle expensive). This set of bits are suitable for creating holes in tile. They've worked very nicely on ceramic tile when assisted by a patch of masking tape over the mark, and with a lot of dipping in water (careful with the water as you lift the drill bit back into duty, drills themselves don't like it up 'em). Don't do this dry, give it plentiful watering as you go along, a brief drill, a dip, a bit more of a drill, another dip, and so on. The set was lent out to explore a new life drilling holes through porcelain tile. Early reports seem to indicate that they're not easily up to such punishment. For ceramic, however, I found them ideal given time and patience. Regarding the 8mm bit, either it has an optimistically manufactured tolerance, or the Fischer 8mm x 50mm plastic plugs I tried shoving into the resulting holes are a bit too fat for 8mm, but the plugs do not fit into these holes unless trimmed and shaved with a knife. I blame the plugs, personally. Or Paul Hogan (call that a knife?).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Right way to drill into tiles Needed to drill holes to attach a rail in the shower for my father. As the size of hole was not clear it was better to have a range of drill sizes so bought this set. Clean hole cut into tile very easily. Drill point can slide round a bit on shiny tiles to put a bit of sellotape on the tile to stabilize the drill point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW only wanted a cheap drill bit to put up a shower screen and drill through wall tiles. Wow this was a good bit. I drilled at slow speed and it cut straight through, not hesitation. Cut a perfect hole. I drilled 3 holes 6mm and all were as good as the last. Seems perfect for occasional use.
