Eurocel Washi Masking Tape 25mm x 50m is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Masking Tape I use this tape for masking off my airbrushing layers. It is ideal for this and comes off easily and leaves no residue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Low/medium tack tape I use this tape for masking and taping down stencils on painted furniture. Works well and is very pliable for taping rounds corners or bends. Unless the painted surface is well cured i.e. applied over 7 days ago then it may lift some off. This is easily sorted by just sticking the tape on your clothing prior to sticking on paint. It picks up bits of fluff which reduce its tackiness to low levels. A more specialised masking tape that works well if you use it right.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Really Low Tack Purchased some to mask off a Wallpapered wall,to paint the rest of the room,so applied with little pressure to cover with wall with polythene sheet When time to remove,,i tried very slowly and delicately ,but it was very sticky and took some of the pattern off in parts It should be useful on skirting etc,but it is not in anyway low tack like the yellow delicate frogtape.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Washi Tape Its washi tape so if you've used it before you'll know how handy it is. If not then it isn't the strongest but it won't strip off old paint which is why you'd use it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible tape! This is the worst masking tape I have ever used! I selected it because the description states low adhesion and removable for up to 30 days. This tape is VERY VERY sticky and was extremely hard to remove after 4 hours!! I used just one reel, about 40 metres of it, and it took me over an hour to peel it off!! RUBBISH, I suggest the description should be changed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tape Unlike the other review, I rate this tape as good as any of the other similar thin film, low tack tapes. I rarely give 5-stars, but 4 is still very good, and these low tack tapes are streets ahead of the old, cheap, crepe, beige stuff which has no place in a proper decorating job other than wrapping presents. Granted, a high tack tape might pull a layer of paint off, but when a low tack tape, properly applied, pulls paint off, this says more about the quality of the painting than the quality of the tape - in fact, putting tape onto painted surfaces and pulling it off is a test of paint adhesion. Most problems arise when putting a water-based paint onto an oil-based existing surface, because it won't stick. FWIW, rub down the old surface with a mesh-type carbide paper, 120-grit, then degrease with methylated spirits, which also activates the surface. Use a decent primer like Zinnser 123 -Screwfix , which is made specifically for oil-to-water based paint jobs. Two coats primer, two coats water based top coat. Allow time to harden 24-hrs + before using tapes. Apply the tape gently, do the other painting or whatever, then pull the tape off slowly and at an angle of 90-degrees to the direction of the tape run - do it straightaway, or you can leave for weeks or even months. If a tape proves tricky to remove, use some warm air - hairdryer or the proper thing - to warm the tape ahead of pulling it off. Job done.
