Fence Post Spike 75 x 75mm 2 Pack is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best on the market Having previously used the repair spike in this range I had no qualms in getting these Fence Post spikes. Much more sturdy than the competition (especially Metpost). Easy to drive, no buckling or twisting and the adjustable bolt is easy to use. One tip, when I dropped the posts in I used a couple of plastic shims to keep it straight in the slot while I tightened up. Great price, I will continue to use this range for my fencing jobs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fence Post Spike 75 x 75mm Fence Post Spike 75 x 75mm 2 Pack (50094) Very Handy use a Good Sledge Hammer Use an Off-cut piece of Fence Post to put in the post spikes to drive them in half way. (Doesn't allow hammer to damage metal) Check for vertical then drive spike fully home. They also do one for use in concrete also good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Standard rose support. The front of our house is a bit of a wind tunnel. I have a large standard rose there whose head, with its wonderful flowers is getting a battering and tending to twist. Digging a hole was not an option due to roots. Hammering a stake in was not an option due to the rose head. Bought these and a 2.4 m long 75mm square fence post. Cut the post into two one metres (easy to get in car) and was then left with a handy piece to put in the post spikes to drive them in half way. (Doesn't allow hammer to damage metal) Checked it was vertical then drove spike fully home. Used a piece of treated fence Aris rail to joint and cap both posts. A very neat, extremely stable support for the rose. The spikes are good quality and should last ages. There were no washers on the nut and bolt fasteners so I put some stainless ones on from my tool box, as well as a spring washer to ensure continued tension. (The nuts supplied are the ones with the plastic insert that acts as a non return nut though.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit for purpose Excellent product / well made, sturdy and easy to use. Drove into the think Bucks Blue Clay very easily - used to support a 3m rose arch in uneven ground - product managed effortlessly. Also as product needs to be a love ground level the choice of olive green paint is a bonus - much better than red, black or Metallic on a lawn- would recommend

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fence Post Spike I would normally just use a concrete post mix but decided to use these as I was erecting a fence close to an existing hedge and didn't want to damage the roots. I found these difficult to knock in and ensure the posts were sitting vertical. This was probably due to the fact I have really heavy clay soil which also has sizeable stones below the surface. Also the posts you get from timber merchants can vary in sizes by a few mm. In my case they were a bit too big so I had to shave some width off to fit them in the socket. The spikes seem to be reasonable quality and possibly okay in most situations, just not mine, also not sure I would use on a 6ft fence, especially if fence is likely to get hit by high winds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality where it matters Galvanised and painted for protection against rust, it drove into the ground without resorting to a pile driver - but was firm enough to securely hold a 6' fence
