Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money These plugs are useless couple of taps with hammer and they bend over costing time and money soon got frustrated with these .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plugs There are many types of plugs from lots of companies. In the olden days you could buy a long "thing" that you cut to length. Good in many ways. I was taught by an expert carpenter to hang a shelf or whatever FAST. You drill the first hole and fit a plug. Screw it to the end of the shelf. Now use a bubble and swing to level and go through the wood and the wall with the drill. Stuff the plug in add the screw and hammer it till you can't hammer any more. Now screw it. Awesome. But not with conical plugs with a rim! These plugs are great cos they work in the old way. I used this sort of plug on a rotten 130 year old wall and they worked well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 8mm option Picked these up to give an 8mm hole option rather than the 7mm that most brown plugs are. They work really well, but I'd say that a size 5 screw is the minimum to get a decent grip - if I had 6's to hand I'd have used those.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant wall plug. Good quality, excellent grip and well priced. The parallel design make it possible to drill through plasterboard into the substrate and obtain a solid fixing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value plugs As far as value for money, these plugs are difficult to beat. They work in all substrates and grip wonderfully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Rawlplugs Overall these always seem to work for me in brick, concrete and even aerated concrete blocks most of the time. Best plugs I've found to date that don't slip or pull out. Not the cheapest but not expensive by any means.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from raw plugs Not the best quality plug, but very cheap for the amount and does the job well.
