Flashband Bostik Flashband Evo-Stik Flashband & Primer Grey 3.75 x 150mm is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flashband Very versatile product for sealing roof joints, lean-to porches etc. Repairs done 20 years ago are still watertight! Make sure the the surface is not dusty or too porous, use the primer if it is. Use a heat gun (gently) to ensure the Flashband is fixed to the surface, preferably choose a warm dry day to apply. I find it will stick to most brickwork, tiles and plastic roofs. Great substitute for lead flashing and repairs to lead flashing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant Product I bought this to repair some lead flashing under a window and also on the apex of a porch roof. First of all the primer that is supplied is excellent and makes a great bond with the old flashing for the new flash band to grip to. You simply paint it on where the flash band will go. Then cut the strip of flashband you need and peel off the protective backing and then press it onto the primed flashing and it sticks rock solid. A very good seal is made and it seems to wear well. Time will tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for small fixes Used for garage flat roof repair to cover a 4" long tear in the felt.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Repairs to garage roof This was product was available for collection in 10 minutes and was ready for application within the half-hour. Primer was applied quickly and efficiently, although the instructions weren't that specific (hence the 4/5), I realised that the primer had to set before applying the Flashbond. This took little time and resulted in what looks like a neat and tidy repair/

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awsome Very easy to use and sticks really well when used the the primer, I have used this product before and has given an excellent adhesion to a number of surfaces including brickwork, wood and upvc and has provided seal to keep water out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Value Flashband Seems to do the job. As primer is included this makes for great value. It was easy to apply and appears to do the job. as only time can tell that is why I have only given 4 star ratings!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Flashband Bought this to use at the edge of a concrete asbestos roof. The main feature being the inclusive primer for porous surfaces. All went well until I tried to wash the brush out in water as directed. Once the liquid portion had been washed out a bitumous tar was left in the brush which went rock hard making it unuseable. And this was within 10 minutes of starting the job. Be prepared to lose your brush.
