Forge Steel Cable Cutter 8" (210mm) is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 43.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value Just bought a spare pair....these cutters are outstanding value and have just been used to cut well over 100 copper 25mm bonding cables with no loss in performance. Comfortable to use and at this price a real bargain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for cutting copper cable Cut through twin and earth cable 2.5mm2 and 6mm2 like a knife through butter, giving a nice clean cut, with minimal effort required, so are easy to use. That said I would not use these low cost cutters for cutting through steel wire as this is most likely to damage the cutting edge of the blades.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent value I bought these not to cut standard electrical type cables, but the outers for gear cables on my bike. The cutters need a little pressure applying, but create a beautiful neat cut on the outer without crushing at all the inner hose where the cable sits. These also made light work of my brake hoses (hydraulic discs) without a hint of crushing - the cut leaves the hose nice and round ready for reattachment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Forge Steel cable cutters brought these cutters because my side cutters could not cut threw a 10mm power cable i was using and they worked a treat and at a good price i would recommend these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant cable cutter Absolutely perfect for cutting mains cable - slices through it like butter - you'll wonder why on earth you ever bothered to try with normal wire cutters - these make it just so easy it's almost criminal. Fantastic value for money.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for one handed usage. They work well, but difficult to use with one hand. I've only used them for twin and earth cutting, but they snip well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Cut Above The Rest! These cutters are perfect for the job. Whether it's for copper cables, CAT5e or armoured fibre optic cables they have performed brilliantly. Other cutters have started to blunt themselves by now but these are still going strong. Very good value for money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent wire strippers Used to rewire my flat and strip lots of cable, both 2.5mm twin and earth, and even thicker oven cable, and it cuts through both copper and the sheathing like butter, but with the feeling of control. Can easily strip the wire back using the tugging on wire trick. Worked superbly and have had for almost a year. They literally cut through anything, but I'd stick to copper wires. Cheap, but superb wire stripping capacity. Slightly useless fact: durability wise, It also cuts through food cans pretty well, but after trying to cut a steel rod, I did manage to finally slightly dull the cutters, albeit, still useful, but no longer cut like butter, but still work well, so lesson learned, look after your tools.
