Rated 5 out of 5 by from good piece of kit like other reviews,I found this a tad flimsy, but I simply screwed it to a 12mm base, job done and now very firm

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cove mitre block Brilliant , saves so much time , every cut spot on & so easy to do fantastic piece of kit .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth every penny !! Really useful mitre box to get perfect joints every time and saves buying costly corner joints. Paid for itself after 1 alcove, best to use a fine toothed saw for perfect cuts.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Almost works Used with ScrewFix 125mm coving which turns out to be not quite symmetrical but no guidance as to which way up. Poor slot alignment, poor grip on coving, distorts as you hold it so that the coving jumps out of position. Very lightweight. Useful tips on the labels but nothing about cutting method: fine-tooth tenon saw not deep enough and tears film coating, anything coarser jams in the slots. A really sharp serrated bread knife is probably the only tool to give a clean cut.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mitre Box Being a DIYer would recommend , no trying to work out which cut and what way being upright you can see the angle you need, Much easier and more cost effective than those Cheaper Plastic ones available which are easy to cut thru and change their accuracy, you will save money spent on the waste alone when using for the first time.Highly Accurate A must have for any Diyer or Professionals Tool Box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy Work Made the job run very smooth but made one mistake I didn't realise it was handed. Make sure you use the right side to get the correct cut
Date published: 2016-10-13
Rated 3 out of 5 by from half a twin Any mitre box needs a saw. Because you are cutting paper faced polyurethane you need a fine toothed saw. A fine toothed tenon saw is not deep enough. SF doesn't sell anything to complete a satisfactory job.| Why sell half a product? Have been happy member for 15+ years but this is bad marketing. Will be returning it in the morning & making my own as before.
