Forge Steel Fibreglass Handle Axe 3½lb is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent axe I was a bit nervous buying a new axe as my previous one had been handed down from my father and had give many many years of good service. So far this axe is working as well as the old one. Time will tell if it can match it's durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value axe Got this to replace my trusted old hickory handled axe that had suffered too many inaccurate blows over the years. The fibreglass handle doesn't feel anywhere as nice but it seems just as good for splitting logs. Time will tell if it lasts as long but so far so good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Took down a 40ft Holly tree I think this is a good axe. I used it to chop down a holly tree. Holly wood is about as hard as oak, so it wasn't light work. Axe was well balanced and having never used one before I found it easy enough to use. After chopping down the tree the axe really needs sharpened, but I don't think that's necessarily unexpected or a sign of poor quality. Also, it's cheap enough to pay the money for this to use it once, and keep it stashed away just on the off chance it'll ever come in handy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well balanced axe Had this axe for a year or so and found it great value for the money. The straight handle feels a little different if you're used to a slight curve but that's no biggie. Head holds an edge well. Rubber on handle gives a good grip. Just used it to cut through a 20 inch hung up birch as didn't want to risk a chainsaw and it did a splendid job.
