Forge Steel Spreader Clamp 18" is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good strong & convenient clamp Lovely big sturdy clamps - creates a very strong clamping pressure and very quick and easy to apply and remove. Really can't beat these for the price. Do be ware though if you're doing metal work - the clamp bodies are plastic, and the jaw pads are a nice soft plastic - and angle grinder sparks aren't kind to them!! Mind you, battle scars are fine and the clamps still work perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very powerful Used these about 10 times now over the last month for gluing battens onto sheets of ply. very powerful clamp, puts a strong force onto the glued joint. easy to release and remove. these are heavier than my old clamps as they are very solid. great value

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reasonable Clamps. I bought a handful of the Irwin 12" clamps and have found the a little on the weak side, good for holding but not so good for applying pressure. I have got two of these 18" clamps and the difference is stunning. Easy to use and very tough. I will be getting four or so more in the next few weeks. I have used more expensive clamps and none are as good as these. I recommend them because for the price they have no equals.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great until it wasn't! Initially I loved this clamp, it was exactly what I needed to make a box and hold pieces in place. I then had a job which required some repetition ~20 tight clampings over a short space of time with different blocks of the same width. The clamp's paint has worn away at this location on the bar and it will no longer grip. As long as I don't want to clamp anything of that width it will still work, but as a result it gets 1 star for reliability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good clamp I brought this clamp for a small diy project. It seems solidly built and has some weight to it. Coped fine holding 2 pieces of wood together while glue was setting. Would have no hesitation buying another if the need arises

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fine addition to my tool box Need some new longer clamps so decided on three of these. Very pleased with the build quality and functionality. Should make those worktop jobs a lot easier.
