Forge Steel Toolbox Saw 11tpi 14" is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent small saw Nice and compact, perfect for the toolbag. Sharp and true leaving decent cut to timber sheet material.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pay the few extra quid Bought as the size fitted tool bag. Upon opening looked like a descent saw and well made solid product however does not cut well at all. Only used to trim off soft wood from bottom of door ended up digging out an old rusty saw from the shed which actually cut better. Read previous reviews and only saw one bad one "can't cut won't cut" I have to agree.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Might possibly cut butter I was taught to set, sharpen and dress my saws before knocking off on a Friday night. I hated doing it, and was delighted when disposable saws came along. I've used dozens over the years, a decent saw would last me a few weeks, depending on usage. I needed to cut quite a few 18mm chipboard loft panels, bone dry, an easy rip you might think. I picked up this Forge Steel saw at Screwfix, as an afterthought, and really, I shouldn't have bothered. The first cut with a brand new saw should have a satisfying raspy sound to it, and an easiness in use. Not so with this saw. I put it aside and tried my previous toolbox saw, an old Stanley, maybe five years old. It was better than the new Forge Steel. I tried the FS with pine, and to my surprise, thought it wasn't bad. But then I realised that I'd inadvertently picked up a saw even older than the Stanley, an Irwin. The Forge Steel, when I did try it on the pine, was poor. How this saw got a trade recommendation baffles me. I'd return it, just to make a point, but writing this review does the job better. I'm an ex-carpenter and joiner, these days a reluctant diy'er.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job perfectly. Perfect for those not always unexpected jobs around the house and garden. Compact but efficient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cutting edge technology Great little saw, fits my toolbox nicely and cuts well. Only minor downside is that the blade protector it comes with is useless. A way to prevent the teeth slicing your hands apart when you're rummaging is a necessity for a saw that's obviously meant to be carried in a toolbag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good little saw Saw is just the right size to be very usefull and to carry in toolbag or box. gives a good clean cut, not used it for a long time yet but looks like it will last a good time. If in your tool bag be carefull when digging around in bag as teeth on this saw are very sharp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handy small saw Brought this as was short enough to fit on side of my tool bag. So far have used a few times and cuts wood and plastic sheeting quite good. For the price seems a handy saw for those quick small jobs to save getting electric saw out.
