Frogtape Painters Delicate Surface Masking Tape 24mm x 41m is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 73.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I have used this tape many times. It is very good for using on newly emulsioned walls to tape around door architrave and skirting boards before painting them with gloss or Satinwood. It leaves a nice crisp line and does not take off any of the emulsion from the wall when the tape is removed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Destroyed my walls Avoid this tape at all costs. I bought it because it was low tack and I needed something to apply to walls that had been painted around two weeks ago. I was still skeptical so I left this tape on for 15 minutes max. When I pulled it off it ripped big strips of paint off with it. I would give this 0 stars if I could.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but costly It's good stuff, but much more expensive than standard tape. I use it for accurate jobs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best Yes, it's expensive, but it's the only one that works, by my reckoning that makes it the cheapest.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from won't be using again I bought this tape as it is designed for delicate surfaces, such as freshly painted walls! The tape goes on easy enough but when you come to pull it off, it pulls the paint under the tape off the wall. I won't be using this tape again. Previous to using this one, I used the orange frog tape designed for gloss and satin paints and this was much better on my emulsion painted walls. I'll be buying more of the orange frog tape from now on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sort of lo-tack tape I needed some low tack tape and was buying in store. This was the only one in stock. I went for the pricy option because I knew that standard masking tape was going to lift the paint on a newly plastered wall. This mostly worked, but still lifted the paint in a couple of patches. It also seemed to get tackier if you leave it in place - I had some aluminium trim that it left a load of adhesive residue on over a six inch stretch. So, mostly good, but not a silver bullet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible on emulsion I bought this tape as the reviews were good and it's expensive price reassuring. Mistake! This tape is fine for glossed surfaces or to stop you getting paint on your windows - but when it come to emulsion it as awful. I painted my daughters bedroom ceiling then 4 days later I used the tape to mask off ready to emulsion the walls... peeled the tape off the following day after two coats of emulsion and it pulled loads of paint off the ceiling. Gutted!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First time using tape This is my first time using masking tape for decorating and i was very impressed. We have a tricky vaulted ceiling which I was expecting to be a nightmare to cut in with it being so tricky to get to and having to reach. So I brought this take and it worked amazingly, I did two coats within a few hours and removed is straight after the second coat and the edges where totally straight and it was so, so much quicker. It isn't going to last ages and ages, but even if i had to use a hole role for edges and skirting I would still buy it. Simply because it was much much quicker and a better finish. Can't say that it is better than any other tape but was totally happy.
