Grundfos Alpha 2L 15-60 is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loss leader Great value pump, easy to fit if the pump valves work, a fantastic upgrade if you have TRV's

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Is it working? Yes it is! Bought to replace a noisy Wilo Gold RS60. This was a direct replacement and is practically silent. Had to double check that it was actually working the difference between the two was so vast.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from oh dear fitted it the wrong way round, leaked everywhere when i took it off as i forgot to drain back down, instructions are useless as i cant read.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A good start Bought to replace a brand new Grundfos UPS2 (which didn't start properly - just pulsed, as reported by others). This has had no such troubles, seems capable of pumping very hard if needed, is about as close to silent as you can get ... Only mid-rating for reliability as I haven't had it installed for long so can't say good or bad (seems fine so far though). Tip - always bleed radiators in ascending order (downstairs first then upstairs) with the pump not running.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Pump Bought to replace a 14 year old noisy Grundfos pump, very easy to fit as exactly the same fitting, simply replaced the rubber sealing washers supplied with the pump. The electrical connector is also easy to fit, and is a removable plug - superb. Love the automatic settings and is so quiet when running. Well done Grundfos, should last another 14 years!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Check the dimensions! This is a great pump, with more than the usual range of power settings to fine tune your system. However, since Grundfoss have decided to mount the controls on the end of the motor, rather than the side of it (as on older models), this makes the motor part quite a bit longer, and might not fit in the same space if you are fitting this as a replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a relief! I had problems with my downstairs rads and getting any balance in the system. I had a WILO pump on number 3 full blast on the system supplying 17 rads including 3 large new cast rads at the furthest downstairs point. I have had issues for years. This week I decided it could be the pump even though it was not old. I read up on pumps and decided on the Grunfos Alpha 15/60 As soon as the job was done (electric connection a bit fiddly, make sure cables are neat and long enough) I fired up the pump and "Voila" it's a miracle!!! all of the rads were red hot, I had to turn the stat down!! I have now turned the pump down to number 2 and still all rads hot, I shall try no1 tomorrow. The moral of this story is avoid WILO and always stick with Grunfos, ask any good heating engineer and they all say the same, pay extra and use Grundfos, glad I did.
