Grundfos UPS2 15-50/60 Central Heating Pump is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 61.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The brand to beat I don't tend to just branded products but knowing Grundfos are a established name with an excellent reputation you really don't want to skimp on a water pump you use EVERYDAY whether for your hot water or heating. No idea how old or how long the Wilo Gold D pump had been fit but from the specs, the difference in how much electricity the pump uses to function at any speed is alot cheaper and quieter to run. 40-60 watts on speed 2 compared to 20 watts (approx) on the Grundfos. I've actually dropped it down a notch which gets all the rads warm and doesn't aeriate the closest. Approx 7 watts draw :) Came with decent diagrams (although self explanatory) and 2 new rubber seals, she was purring away within an hour of buying it. Reliability i can't comment on only fitting it 2 days ago but with a 5 year guarantee it shows they have faith in there product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Waterworks Quick and easy to replace similar pump installed 20 years ago. Works fine, quiet and efficient, together with replacement unions installed at the same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heating Pump Seems to pump water just when you want it! Easy and quick purchase; sensible price. What's not to like. Replacing like-for-like; reliability of this one as yet unknown but based on previous, hopefully very good. Also Screwfix donates a little to a charity of my choice (through "Easyfundraising") from every order - mine is Henry Tyndale School in Farnborough. You can do it too if you don't have anyone else to donate to!! Just select Screwfix and your charity through the easyfundraising app.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Central heating pump Cannot realy comment on reliability as only been fitted a week, but it fit staight into the gap on replacing a very noisy flomasta. Runs quieter than the timer clock next to it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product Needed a new water pump and wanted to replace the current grundfos pump. Screwfix as usual had what I needed. It was easy to understand the instruction book and was a helpful guide. The pump is well built but can be expected from Grundfos. It was easy to fit but a bit fiddly as it sits close to my boiler. It has a 5 year guarantee the one I replace was nearly 30 years old. I did have a problem undoing one side of the pump. I used an old blunt cold chisel and a hammer to loosen the nut - it worked. The pump comes with new rubber seals so clean up the area when removing the old seals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grundfos UPS 2 I already from experience that Grunfos pumps are the best. When your reputation is your best asset, only use the best. With Plumbfix's price what's to think about....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish I had this pump a couple of months and it has failed. It just starts for half a second and stops for a second and try's to start again and won't run continuously. It's a common fault apparently that grunfos are not admitting to . Buy another make or the alpha 2
