H & C Contemporary Bar Valve Fixing Kit Chrome Effect is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Was not 150mm centers Purchased this to help with keeping shower level after Tilers have been in. Came to 2nd fix the shower and centres didn't line up. Was 2/3mm out, with great difficulty managed to pursue onto shower. Just be aware this product is not guaranteed 150mm centres. Check that shower valve fits before installation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bar shower Good product. Ideal for bar showers. The spigots could do with being 1cm longer to allow for depth of aqua board and tiles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time saver This shower bar kit saves loads of time setting out. The bar fits first time, every time Could do with a feature to allow for depth adjustment just in case the tiler uses too much adhesive and doesn't leave you enough thread protruding. Had to trim down the pipe collars

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not FIT There is NOT enough Depth to put in a cavity with Plasterboard and Tiles If you leave of the Chrome Covers then it Might work but you will see the holes. It needs Much MORE depth to mount in a cavity. Taken Back for a refund

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good kit but getting expensive Cant understand why the price is going up on this, its been around for while, ive always used them in my shower installs as it saves a lot of messing about. The fitting is strong and when mounted properly, will last behind walls, tiles, cladding etc. It should be a popular seller so why the price increase????

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product Maybe a little bit expensive if compared with similar product available from competitors. I bought this for Screwfix because it was in stock and quickly available which was a bonus. The product looks good and its construction is solid. Valves project quite a lot. Better dimension details in specification section would definitely help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent design Fitted many of these and they make my life much simpler. Excellent sturdy design. Good quality compression joints with thick copper olives. If you are fitting a bar valve this should be considered an indispensable part. It is a little expensive but saves so much time and builds confidence in the connection. One thing to mention: if you over tighten the fixing screws on an uneven surface the two spigots can move out of 150mm alignment. They can easily be brought back with a screwdriver used as a bar inside the spigots to realign. In my opinion the best bar shower valve on the market.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saves Hassle This handy device makes installation of bar-type mixer units on 150 mm centres much easier. The inlets take 15 mm copper or plastic and the outlets are standard male threads to take the 3/4" nuts on the back of the mixer bar. You have to chase out the wall to a depth of about 75 mm, and getting the alignment correct can be tricky in all 3 dimensions, but once its done and you've filled behind. then tiling and mounting the shower unit is straightforward.
