Halolite LED Constant Voltage Driver 1-16W is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I bought this unit to power 5 of Screwfix's 2.9w MR16 downlighters (ie 14.5w total). It could not drive them despite a claimed 16w capacity. When i tried 4 bulbs (ie 11.6w) it improved, but was still very hit and miss. Symptoms - lights flash rapidly on and off - which I've read is its over-current mode. I read that sometimes AC transformers can be used with LED's (god know how!). I tried one and it dd not. But the second one I tried of a different make/model worked perfectly. So my advice, if you have some old AC units, try those first - you might save yourself some money!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from didn't work I tried two of these, the first one lasted about two weeks then made the bulbs flash, it got worse of the next few weeks, i took it back and replaced it with a new one, that was the same...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work Wouldn't run 3 x 5w led MR16 bulbs. This transformer has three separate led outputs. Wired transformer in parallel as per instructions to get single +/- output which in itself was a pain as terminals are very small with little space for wires. After going through this time consuming process, it then only had sufficient output for one 5w bulb. Add a second and cut out switches in. Add a third and it flashes repeatedly. Returned to store and bought a new transformer from an online led light retailer which took two minutes to fit and worked perfectly out of the box.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Can't drive 3 x 5w LED's Used with 3 x LAP LED MR16's, and all lamps flashed. Took one of the MR 16's out of circuit, all ok, though ran a bit warm. So although it is rated as 16w it couldn't drive 15w. I returned it and got a 24w driver cheaper elsewhere, that worked ok.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great peace of kit for the diy Found it to be well built easy access to the screws and the double connections really help for adding other lights unlike some other products which can be quite hard to wire. Overall built to do the job.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from dissapointed Although these units work well in general, they are rated at 1.4A but I found that they cut out after 15mins when run at 1.2A so a bit misleading! They do run fine at 1A

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cured flickering LED. Bought this to cure flickering LED down lights that I'd just converted from halogen. Works fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from driving 3 LED bulbs Bought two as replacements to the AC ones that were making my new LED bulbs flickers. Easy to wire with loop in/out terminals and three sets of output terminals. One is powering two bulbs, the other three.
