Harris Contractor MicroPoly Roller Sleeve Short Pile 9" x 1.75" is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 24.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good results I cleaned the roller first as other reviewers have advised and I found that the roller did not lose any bits during painting. I did not have any issues, it held enough paint, it went on evenly and left no marks. There was a nice smooth finish, I would l recommend this roller.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Roller ok the roller does what it is supposed to do. Some of the fibres come off during use but if you wash the roller before use it minimises loss.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Roller Prep is Key!! Good roller, picks up paint well and finishes well with no drag/tide marks. With ALL rollers the secret is to wash your new roller out in warm water (the day before use) to remove any loose fibers/dust. Once the roller is fully dry, wrap your roller with duck tape (or other sticky tape) and remove tape. The applying of tape & removal - will remove any loose fibers that would come out onto the wall and spoil your finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must get another Easy in its use and washed out well. There were a few longer strands that I cut off prior to it's first wash before use

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Average The type of roller that leaves you plagued with lines from the edges of the roller (both sides)... A total nightmare to get a good finish with, had to finish off with a totally different roller sleeve as it was ruining the job. Used for 10 minutes - thrown in bin, along with the other unused one I picked up at the same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Rollers Newly plastered wall. Used these for the final coat. Had already used some other roller sleeves for mist coat and they left a grainy texture. Lightly sanded the texture and then applied final coat with these. Amazing finish, really smooth and professional. No grainy texture left behind. Will be using this on all smooth surfaces. Only down side is a bit of fluff does get on the walls, but for the finish you get, they are well worth it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous Sleeve A very good sleeve for painting flat surfaces. Gives you the perfect finish on walls. First time I had used this particular one and very happy. Will continue to use these in the future. Easy to wash afterwards. Just remember to wash before first use to remove the very small amount of fluff in them. First class product. Excellent price. Well done Screwfix.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from okay This is a nice inexpensive short-pile roller and probably great for emulsion etc. Maybe I shouldn't have used it for varnishing a new pine floor but next day I discovered numerous strands of pink pile welded into the rock solid varnish...
