Harris Heavy Duty Tungsten Carbide Wood Scraper 9¾" is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 93.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not scraping the barrel I bought this to help me get into the corners when sanding down my old pine floorboards. I has done a good job of reaching the areas that my edging sander couldn't. Blade has so far stayed sharp. Would recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Stuff Tungsten carbide is hard, very hard. This blade is superb and never seems to go blunt. However, tungsten carbide does break when dropped and struck, so be careful when handling the scraper. The handle is nice and round, largish and fits nicely in my hand. Note that the given length is the length of the tool, not the width of the blade. I used this to scrape old polyurethane varnish from my oak kitchen top and it worked a treat. Be careful to hold the blade flat on the surface, the sharp edge will gouge a groove with no effort if you don't balance the pressure or hit a piece of softer wood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What A Beauty Started to strip back the varnish on Grandad's mobile home and started with a heatgun and old triagular scraper. What a slow job with the occasional burn from the heatgun. A passing neighbour recommended this scraper so I went and got one. What a difference, no heatgun needed and it sliced through the varnish easily. The wife leant a hand and even she found it easy. Nice chunky handle so gripping wasn't as tiring and I found that if I couldn't get in the corners I just had to loosen the screw holding the blade to slide it out more on one side, re-tighten it, problem solved.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Scraper Don't waste your money on cheaper versions just buy this one. Good solid comfortable handle, sharp and strong. Only thing that lets it down slightly is that there is no protective cover for the blade when it's in your tool bag. I've made on to fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall Excellent Tool Bought to strip a staircase and skirting, managed to almost get the whole job done on one edge of this tool, then the blade snapped in half (death by over use maybe) Found it easier to apply heat with heat gun on lowest setting which took it clean to the wood. Replacement blades aren't cheap, but worth every penny. Off to purchase a spare blade or 2 now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An exceptional scraper This robust and comfortable tool is superb for scraping paint, removing adhesive left by vinyl tiles on timber floors, and generally cleaning up timber surfaces. Best used with both hands for firm control. The reversible blade remains secure during use and provides the convenience of quickly switching edges if you want to keep one edge keen for fine work.
