Harris Metal Telescopic Paint Roller Pole 2m is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 74.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute Junk I don't often feel compelled to write a review, but this Harris roller pole is just junk. Within a couple of hours use the head/roller mounting already had 20° slap on it and something was sliding about in the handle (there should not be anything in the handle). The mounting is just plastic with the tube just crimped onto it. It's just not fit for purpose. Got a refund and went for the slightly more expensive No Nonsense version for £4 more (81178). This has a metal screw head/mounting, bigger bore tubes and seems pretty indestructible. Buy the cheap Harris cr*p if you want to give it to someone you don't like, else get the Screwfix No Nonsense one for £4 extra.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Harris roller pole Only had it for 1hour and the screw thread snapped off, poor quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extension Good and worked fine on screw option. The locking device can be tricky to unlock I found but good product and good value

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Will it stay the course? For a fiver, this is an excellent pole; decent metal construction and infinitely adjustable length make it a joy to use. The tip is a two parter - a dowel (for socket rollers) and threaded assembly (for threaded rollers... doh) - and therein lies my only criticism. It's friction fitted into the steel pole. After a hard days painting ceilings, mine has a distinct wobble as it starts to work loose. In time I'll cut it off and araldite it back in place - which will cure the problem. Keep this in mind as you buy...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not bad. I found this a little flimsy but it does do the job and I found it handy for walls and ceiling in stairs areas where access is pretty poor. Glad I have it just in case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extension Pole Good solid pole, good ergonomics and fits a variety of handles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent extendable pole This pole has a decent length, an adaptor so it fits different roller handles & appears pretty robust. 5 stars!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Could do much better! There are no instructions, but you are referred to the Harris website; however, this product is not mentioned on the website. When I unpacked it extended easily, and I pushed it back in. This was maybe a mistake, since no amount of twisting or pulling enabled me to ever extend it again. Shame. A Harris roller screwed on OK, but this could not be tightened well, so it kept coming loose in use very annoying - v. I had thought that Harris were a good make, but maybe no more.
