Hitachi C9U2 235mm Circular Saw 240V is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Pro quality. The first use of this saw required it to cut a piece of 3" x 3", 4 metres long in half lengthways, it was effortless and the cut edge looked like it had been planed. In this case, you get what you pay for. Not a cheap tool, but pro tools aren't cheap, are they?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent and powerful saw Bought this for a roofing job at home. Cuts through 6 x 3 timber like a knife through butter. Well worth the money. Only gave it 3 stars for reliability as I have not had it for long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Durable Saw At Precise Formwork Ltd we have two of these saws, which we have owned and put to use on site for well over four years. Both have been vigorously put through their paces every day and they are both still going strong. Both are constantly ripping 18 mm Plywood, and sometimes 100 x 75 mm timber and 150 x 75 mm. One saw is starting to sound a little ropey but it is expected as

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good saw Bought this to cut some wet treated timber. Ripped a 4.2m 6x2 without a blink.. Its a bit heavy, but i guess that is the motor. Sadly no brake on the saw so it takes a while to stop spinning. The dust extractor needs to be removed before it fits in the box, also you need to swap the lever to a small one before it works with the extractor. The base is really sturdy and well made. Biggest criticism is the length of the cable, it is pathetically short.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Really Great Saw for DIY I have used this saw both as a stand alone one and also mounted on my Triton sawbench and it is a really great saw. It is larger than the other circular saws I bought in the past but it more than makes up for its added size and weight by performance. At the current offer price it is a steal!
