Hitachi CR13V2 1010W Reciprocating Saw 110V is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Get cutting Good tool. Good variety of blades for all types of cutting

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great First it must be said I needed a saw to replace a Makita, not being available I was lead to believe this was as good ! Opening the case revealed a cheap looking chunky saw which was not particulary appealing but given the cost and recommendation I was hoping for something fit for purpose. First impressions holding the saw were how cheap the plastic was and how uncomfortable it was to hold. The blade system is good with a simple flip catch to lock the blade in place. On actually pulling the trigger you get vibration and noises as if the thing will fall to bits, that's at the lowest level. I actually tried full speed but given the vibration could not use it at anything past half speed. There is also no control to limit the max speed or a soft start so you have to be quite delicate with the trigger. Basically, expensive, poor quality and lacking features of similary priced saws.Give it a miss and buy something else. The only reason I have rated reliability as 1 is because I have not had it long and will be buying something better shortly, Hitachi is getting a sent to the unwated pile.
