Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2t mixing bottle What a great simple idea and so simple to use,It mixes one litre of fuel/oil at a time which is plenty for my DIY chainsaw usage. The shape of the bottle makes it really easy to hold and mix the fuel with the oil.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too useful to lend Very accurate way to ensure the oil fuel mix is correct. Cheaper than a new engine. Easy to use but I have to use a funnel to prevent spills, it would be good if one came with the mixing bottle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Looks great... But avoid! On first buying this bottle it looks great... Good strong plastic and the measurements clearly marked on the side. Even I can see the measurements without my glasses! So, I came to use it... Poured in petrol to the correct marker, then added oil, screwed on the lid and gave it a shake... Got covered in petrol and oil mix! The screw top lid DOES NOT give a good seal and is potentially dangerous! That was the first thing. So, I added the petrol and oil mix to the tank of my chainsaw. It had been working fine but now was spluttering and not revving well. Eventually it just stopped and refused to start again. Fortunately, the chainsaw was still under guarantee with Screwfix so I took it back and got a new one. Having read some of the reviews about this bottle it seems that the measurements are way out, which could explain the deceased chainsaw. THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE RECALLED. Not only is it unfit for purpose, but potentially destructive and dangerous! Be warned!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mix it up and start again Before I even knew this existed I tried mixing with various containers and pots - spilled oil and petrol everywhere and the resulting mix was not right for the engine, which would not start. THEN I did some research and saw this handy and simple pot. With this pot it could not be simpler to get the required ratio right - engine was started and up and running in a jiffy. Different ratios can be achieved, and can be used to store the mix afterwards cos of the screw cap. Screwfix staff should be recommending this when selling their petrol powered tools.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from idiot proof Simply fill to line marked petrol then top up with correct oil type to the ratio you need clearly marked on bottle to match your machines needs. They are cheap and poor well to result petrol ain't cheep.
