Hyena Nevis Waterproof Rigger Safety Boots Brown Size 8 is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 50.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed!! I bought a pair of these boots and they leaked after a week... I liked the shape and style of them so I decided to give them another go. I returned them and got a refund and then purchased another pair. After a few weeks the lining on the inside came away and I had major difficulty to get my foot out.... I can no longer use them...very disappointed!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Medieval torturers would be proud. At first glance these boots look and feel like the real deal. At £39.99 they're also attractively and competitively priced. When you try one on it feels reassuringly firm and ridgid, it's a new boot, that's how a new boot is supposed to feel. Except they never soften up, they actually seem to get harder with age, to the point where I feel like I'm wearing ski boots. I would throw these boots in the bin, except I'm currently on a 6 week trip offshore, so my battered and blistered feet are going to have to endure another 28 days of 12 hour shifts (336 hours, yes I have worked this out so I can literally tick off the hours I have to wear these things till I can bin/kill them with fire) I have never worn such painful boots in all my life (even climbing mountains in new 'pussers' boots as a Royal Marine) the bridge of my left foot is a-braised to the point wear I have to tape it up, the first knuckle on the little toe of my right foot has a perma-blister and the sides of both feet constantly ache. Avoid like the plague, spend the extra £35 and get a pair of Dewalt pro boots instead.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 1 week in so far so good 1 week of wearing on a muddy building site and so far so good. They would benefit for a comfier lining because on the first day of wearing wit one pair of thin socks i got a blister on my small toes,. Were better with 2 pairs of socks on the 2nd day, but then made getting the boots off difficult. Today wore with one pair of thicker socks and all was well, comfy and i could get them off easy enough.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor no movement at in the boot at all , its like 2 concrete blocks. when you walk it pushes against the bridge of your feet with major pain. i tried to drive in them you cant bend you feet to move the pedal. AWFUL

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well made I read the reviews before purchasing and went for one size bigger. These boots are very narrow and although they are very well made I had to return them because they were too tight. I wanted something waterproof and these would have been ideal. Screwfix refunded without any problem and I bought a pair of stanly rigger boots for an extra £20.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Waterproof Boots I bought these for dog walking not for a building site and will review them as such... They are great quality boots for the price, waterproof tested over this weekends rain sleet and snow conditions!! They do take a couple of good walks to get them to start to soften and an absolute must is to wear long socks or tuck your trousers in the boots so your skin doesn't come in contact with the top edge of the rigger boot as it will rub and cause your legs to get very sore indeed!! As I use them for mainly dog walking in bad conditions, didn't really need the steel toe cap element of the boots, but the steel in the boots does make it more rigid and less inclined to bend were the toes meet the foot and so less chance of wearing and cracking (which I have had problems with in the past from boots). Be aware they are not too wide a fitting and can feel a bit tight until they soften up a bit. Overall, a great boot at a great price for Warm, dry and comfortable feet!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boots but not very wide Definiteley buy these 1 or 2 sizes larger than normal as they are very slim and being safety boots don't give to allow a wider foot in. If you can get them on, then you have a great boot
