Labgear LDA204L/S 4-Way VHF / UHF Aerial Amplifier 2 Inputs 4 Outputs is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Missing information I had to replace a 17 year old unit which was beginning to show its age. Assumed that this would be a simple direct replacement so did not read all the reviews. This was a big mistake as the absence of referring to the aerial connections I had "assumed" that the existing coaxial would just plug in. These units are fitted with F plug screw fittings but there is no mention of this anywhere on the specifications. The solution is quite straightforward using converter sockets 73805, but required me to make another trip out to pick them up. I could have changed the plugs on the existing cabling but at my age don't mess about in the attic any more than I have to (I had soldered the existing coax sockets on the cables when fitted so no problems with the existing connections)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far excellent Echo what other said, moved into new house Friday, BBC one freeview was great, itv onwould was nackered, had a very old labgear electrknic spliter in the loft which was very much pre freeview, replaced with this one and all the channels are back, gone from at least 7 interference to none at all now! Can't comment on reliability yet but if it's anything like the one replaced hopefully should give us many happy years

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good Had a standard splitter and picked up 10 channels which were very intermittent, connected this up and received 150+ channels, can't say on reliability but so far a very good product, and no noise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looked ok but did not use Bought this on Christmas Eve. Did not realise until I got home that all the connectors are screw thread in stead of the usual push-on ones. Could not try it out because of this so will return it & try something else. Build quality etc all looks good but that's as far as I can really go with this comment...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good and bad Bought this to replace other amp in loft. The unit does what it is supposed to do ok. However it puts out awful RF noise on medium and HF radio bands. Probably due to it's power supply. The old one had a seperate coax feed power supply which is a transformer. Beware if you listen to medium wave or short wave radio as you won't be able to for the noise. You may also be upsetting your neighbours. This wont affect most people but I am surprised that a manufacturer of such equipment could put this out. Please note this is not a rant at Screwfix.
