Rated 4 out of 5 by from PF100 SATELLITE COAXIAL Cable was not 50m. Short by half a metre. Not sure how they got it wrong, because the cable has markings on it. Quality looks good and hoping it will be reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality cable Although a DIY'er, I have previously been involved professionally in the radio field and it is clear that this is a high quality cable. It is double screened with both a copper foil layer and copper braid. it also has a robust outer cover. All of this makes the cable rather stiff, and as it comes tightly rolled and not on a drum, care has to be taken to avoid tangling. F-type plugs for satellite installations fit very firmly(unlike with some smaller diameter lighter-weight cable). For securing, 7mm cable clips are ideal. At only just over 50p per meter, this is great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for normal TV aerial All this sat-tv and RG6 / RG59 etc cable or whatever is confusing. Well this cable is what I would consider 'normal' aerial cable for a normal tv - connect to aerial, connect to telly or freeview box, job done. I don't know about cable-tv or satellite stuff. I found this much better quality than the old stuff I was taking down that had been up there over 10 years. The shielding has two layers - the normal copper strands / mesh type stuff + a continuous layer of copper sheet, a bit like a thin layer of paper, that is meant to help shield this signal - this is what most cheaper cables don't have. All seems pretty well made compared with the cheap stuff. Other items I needed: I found Tower 7mm cable clips( part number 14161) fitted the cable perfectly and could be hammered into the mortar between bricks. I also used labgear tv splitter 44534 which worked well. I required F-type coaxial plug to connect cable to my particular aerial 17061. and both male 78603 and female 52856 coaxial plugs to connect aerial to splitter, and splitter on to tv aerial (ie the splitter req 1 of each type). I would suggest getting these all at same time so you've got everything you need at home when you do the job.
