Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but needs development What a great idea! and quite simple to fit. I used these as under kitchen cupboard lighting and they do the job very well. I do however believe that a bit more product development is required to make them exceptional. 1) The adhesive is not great. I had to supplement with super glue to ensure that they stayed put especially in bends. 2) Partly the issue is ensuring that the surface you are sticking them to is perfectly clean. It would be great if the product came with some cleaning wipes, probably alcohol based to ensure the surface is free of any oils, grime or dust etc. 3) You are limited to bends on a single plane only, so may not suit every application. It would be great if they were supplied with some 90° connectors on both planes and with the necessary electrical connectors to continue the run. I.e. that you cut the strip (at one of the designated cutting points) but rather than that being the end of the line, you then reconnect the strip using a bend connector. 4) You are instructed to use a small amount of silicon to seal the end if you do cut the strip, in order to maintain the IP rating. Well not everyone has silicon available and to be honest I'm not convinced this is the best solution anyway. It would be better if a small rubber cap could be supplied with the product to seal the end anyway. That said we are very happy with the end result and assuming they will last a few years, I would recommend this product, at least for this application.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice effect Have fitted these under the kitchen base units & the effect is good. I was concerned that i would be able to see that it was discrete LEDs, but the light is even. There is about a metre of cable from the plug to the first LED, enough to stretch from a socket behind the units to the plinth. I even managed to work around a standalone washing machine, by cutting the strip, soldering in some speaker wire, and running this around the back of the machine. There are cut points at 50cm intervals to enable you to do this, or just to cut the string to length.
