Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rubbish Fitted 2 of these as the first one packed up after a couple of weeks second one lasted only 5 days, they cant take the load, spend a bit more and get a better one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Conked out Cheap but useless timer. Simple to wire in but lack of backlight and tiny screen made programming awkward; then it worked for a few days before breaking down. Resetting and rewiring had no effect. Returned for a refund.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from replaced it without question This is a recommendation for Screwfix rather than the product. The immersion stopped working and assumed the worste as timer seemed to be working.... the electrician checked it and it WAS faulty. Screwfix replaced it without question and I can now enjoy my nightly shower.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Short life Bought this to replace a previously broken timer but didn't live longer than 6 months

Rated 3 out of 5 by from You'll need good eyesight I can't rate reliability as I've only just fitted it. It has the right features but only uses one fixing screw which allows it to twist. My main problem is that the characters on the display are tiny - particularly a problem if you are fitting it in a poorly lit airing cupboard!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from To the minute ! easy to install, a bit more complicated to set multi options,(day, days and week) for your your on/off times. Thankfully it came with clear instructions of how to do. Screen display has no back light so have a torch if setting times and functions in a cupboard! Only given a 4 for reliability and performance due to it being a new installation, hopefully it will exceed that though. Silent operation, not like some mechanical timers. Can set times to the minute whereas mechanical can only usually be to the 1/4 hour.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid Avoid! it will quit! Bought one of these for the immersion heater for just the summer quarter as the rest of the time it works on the oil and log burners. Nice price and easy to program although numbers very small and difficult to see in the airing cupboard First one failed after two years. So ok. Try again. Now this second one has packed up! The replacement only fitted last may and only called into action again in the last few weeks and the relay inside has gone open circuit. Just don't think it can handle the current a 3k immersion heater takes so not fit for purpose. Won't be buying a third. Poor value if you have to replace it every year. If you a professional installer it will be a call back and dent to your reputation. So spend more money and get a better one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LAP Immersion heater timer My old timer was a clockwork one which you could hear at night as it was wearing out. This new one being digital is silent and has much more options than the old one. I've only had it a few days so can't comment on reliability yet. The price seemed very good in comparison to some others I looked at elswhere.
