LAP Indoor Ceiling Flush PIR is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pir sensor Easy to install , looks neat Ideal for the job when installing downlighting and don't want to see an ugly PIR on the wall

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another LAP product Large terminals makes for easier connections and they don't look that bad once they are installed. As far as LAP products go this is the only one I would buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ceiling PIR (Flush Mount) Bought this to operate a light in the porch at the front door. Works brilliantly. The unit is easy to fit, easy to wire and easy to set up. While a little on the large size (75mm hole required) once fitted it does look neat and tidy. Oh if you remove it watch the springs they don't half whack your fingers!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Manual override does not work The first one was purchased a few years ago and was used in my garage. The manual override never worked on that one and by the time I found that out it was too late to take back. Just purchased my second to one and it has the exact same problem. No good if you need this function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Automated lighting made easy Having installed similar units in our bathrooms I bought this one for our refurbished laundry room. With all new LED downlights this ensures the lights are only on when we need them. So saved twice; first by switching to LEDs and second by not leaving lights on when not needed. No electronic sensitivity but I did not need to use the sticker system to get the best result.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for money. Installed it in my kitchen. Works too good. Covers big area. Lights come on before we enter the kitchen. Easy to install. Big terminals.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Manual Override Problem Wanted the manual override for my porch light with minimum wiring changes. The unit turns off manual override at dawn, but when the light was on in manual override the sensor was detecting enough light to think it was dawn :( I had the light sensitivity set on max dust initially, had to raise it. The symptom was the light only staying on for a shorter time in manual override than the automatic time I'd setup. May have been better, if I'd have gone for a double pole switch (intermediate switch) that way the manual overide PIR function would been used - as I can see the Mrs struggling with the mystic double on-off-on switching.
