Makita GA9050/1 2000W 9" Angle Grinder 110V is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 100v GA 950 cisc cutter I have always used Makita products due to the superb reliability and workhorse nature. Sadly I think this product has a batch problem. The first failed within a few days and the second within a day. Always the same, stuttering, loss of power and spluttering sounds from the motor. This was just cutting 10mm steel bolts. Very disappopinted

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Get a different grinder Stopped working after a handful of uses cutting paving slabs. Lost all power and made electrical popping noises. Got the grinder replaced for a new one by Screwfix and it did the same thing within 3 minutes of using it. I would recommend buying a different Grinder! Screwfix customer service was excellent.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not the greatest was disappointed that I needed to purchase 110V plug, for some reason it's not part of a tool ... ?! So be prepared if you decide to purchase this tool as much as it says 2000W, well a found it well underpowered if I compare it with my Bosch GWS Time will show how good it is in real life, but so far I can't see it lasting long just for reason that i needed to tighten up every screw in body. Don't really understand why Skrewfix don't keep in stock quality tools like Bosch, well at least our local store never has anything apart from next day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unexpected problem Have used Makita tools for many years in construction and never had a problem. So was dismayed when it developed a fault whilst cutting steel angle iron. Screwfix exchanged it without any problem and I was happy to stay with Makita as I'm sure this was a rare fault and expect it to last many years. In operation, its performance is second to non and with the right blade/disc will cut concrete, brick or steel with equal effortless efficiency.
